Porto Royal Bridges Hotel

The hotel was far better than expected after reading some of the reviews. It is a perfect location for sightseeing and walking all around Porto. The staff were extremely helpful and the bar/reception area is both stylish and inviting to sit. The cocktails and selection of beverages was very good and the staff knowledgeable and informative. The bedroom was clean and extremely comfortable and the bathroom was big with beautiful fittings. We loved all the modern, quirky decor throughout the hotel. The breakfast selection looked good and is a very reasonable price but we are not breakfast people so cannot comment on the taste. We would be more than happy to stay again and would like to thank all the staff that made our stay so pleasant.

Fantastic Hotel + Location. Stayed at the hotel 17/02-19/02 for a city break to celebrate my wifes birthday. Spoke with the hotel before travelling to organise the room to be set up for her birthday. Brought banners & balloons and it was all set up to a high standard. We were also provided with a bottle of wine, birthday cake and a card from the hotel staff wishing her happy birthday. Also emailed to asked for recommendations for a nice meal. MUU steakhouse was one of the best meals we have ever tried. Would highly recommend this hotel for a city break as location and staff are brilliant.

Fabulous location; two metros very close by Hotel receptionist amazing and very helpful Concierge knowledgeable and made you feel welcome Breakfast buffet great choice and superb quality Bed very comfortable Shower wonderful Felt secure at New Year as security measures put in place at entrance

On arriving the staff were genuinely welcoming, the decor in the reception and dining area was fabulous and loved the mid century furniture and massive cork lighting feature. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We did have an issue with the sink draining which was immediately addressed by house keeping. Very good blackout curtains too. Breakfast was good as covered all options, though the barista coffee machine did take some mastering for a few guests. Location excellent for getting to all the city sights. The hotel check out was 12.00 and they will let you store your luggage if you need to.

Staff were excellent and friendly, room was a good size, comfortable bed and no street noise, fantastic walk in shower, breakfast really good and plenty of choice. Location superb. Walking distance to everywhere in Porto and beside Sao Bento train station if you want to travel and explore further afield.
